In one of the most beautiful places of Maastricht, the fifth marlies|dekkers store opened its doors in April 2007.

Het Stokstraatkwartier is the district of Maastricht where all famous and prominent fashion brands are settled and where you can have a delicious meal in accordance with local consumptions in one of the many restaurants.

The store consists of an old and a new part. The old part falls under the preservation of monuments and historical buildings. The premises were built by the skipper Dominicus Bauduin in the style of the Renaissance. Above the door, a Latin text is written: "eXtrUCtUM baUDUIn ConserVetUr" (let this building of Bauduin be conserved). The capitals can also be interpreted as Roman numerals and when these numerals are added, they will form 1741, the year the premises were built. In 1962 a part of the building was renovated.
