 At the end of 2005, the Dutch lingeriedesigner decided that the time had come for Amsterdam to enjoy her Marlies Dekkers style on a daily basis. The store can be found in the Cornelis Schuytstraat, located in the classy Old South neighbourhood. The street is regarded as one of the best shopping streets of the city. The store is housed in a former office building which has been drastically renovated to create that typical, intimate setting that characterizes marlies|dekkers stores. The warm colour scheme and chandeliers give the store a very boutique-like atmosphere. The lounge area with fireplace, chocolate counter and comfortable, intimate dressing rooms make the journey into the world of Marlies Dekkers complete. |
